Steps to obtaining a Pilot Medical

Obtaining a medical certificate is a crucial first step in starting your flight training journey. Please note that a First Class Medical is required before enrolling in our Professional Pilot Program.

1. Create an account on MedExpress, the FAA’s medical portal.

2. Complete a new First Class Medical application.

3. Print or screenshot the confirmation page.

4. Contact one of the local AMEs (Aviation Medical Examiners) to book a First Class Medical appointment. They will request the confirmation number from your confirmation page.

5. Send a copy of your medical certificate to info@pacificflightacademy.com so we can update your file. Congratulations!
